Far Northern Regional Center is a site that provides services for those who are delayed developmentally and their families. Support and services are provided through this site to help individuals reach their potential success. Far North believes that people will become what they are given the full opportunities in their life to accomplish and therefore they strive to give people the opportunities to thrive. 

Deaf Inc. is a non-profit organization which was created by deaf individuals who want to improve services because they have seen first hand what it is like to not have those services. All of Deaf Inc.'s profits go directly to programs which aim to help the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Deaf Culture Online is a site which aims to bring perspectives on the deaf and hard of hearing experiences. The main focus of this all-inclusive site is to promote awareness of deaf culture and provides a lot of information on the deaf culture. If you don't find the information on this site that you're looking for, they will get you in contact with someone who can give you that information.

Ability Path is a website which provides support for parents of children with special needs. This site  has a number of different resources for parents including forums, tips, and information on health and care. It also provides parents with information on establishing services for their child and perspectives from experts n the field of special needs.

The Foundation for Autistic Childhood Education and Support also known as f.a.c.e.s. provides services for autistic children. These services include early intervention, school consultation and resources. They also provide information about autism and what it means to have this disorder.

The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project is a community-based organization of volunteers which aims promote awareness and provide support for parents of children with special needs. This site provides opportunities for people to get involved or make a difference within the organization as well as resources for families of special needs children. These resources include equipment, grants, and information on upcoming events within the organization.

Child Serve is a non-profit organization which partners with the families of children with special health-care needs to provide the children with a high-quality of life. They provide services such as outpatient and inpatient programs as well as home ad community-based services.

Special Needs Resources is a collaborative resource directory which details services, information and events. It also provides products, programs and opportunities which are aimed to benefit the special needs community.

Safe Kids USA is a site which aims to provide information on keeping special needs children safe in their homes. The site provides numerous safety videos and information for parents, educators and safety professionals to prevent injuries to children with physical, developmental and cognitive disabilities. 

The Council for Exceptional Children is an international professional organization which aims to improve the educational success of individuals with disabilities and/or gifts and talents. The CEC advocates for professional standards, government policies and provides professional development necessary for effective education.

The Common Core Initiative is a site that provides information on the common core standards which will soon be used in our schools.

Laws and Regulations: A Composite of Special Education and Related Laws is a site that allows you to search the laws that are out there regarding special education and related laws. The composite is a place where you can access the laws surrounding special education as needed.

Co-Teaching is a site that helps general education and special education teachers with collaboration. The site provides teachers with information about co-teaching, tips and strategies, and supplemental readings for co-teaching and collaboration.

The Future of Children is a site developed by Princeton University that describes disabilities, common characteristics if students with disabilities and the disability categories listed under IDEA. This site provides a great deal of information about each category of disability for both parents and educators. 

Disability and Special Education Acronyms This site provides parents with a comprehensive list of the acronyms surrounding special education. It can often be overwhelming for parents to walk into the special education world with little or no background in the subject. This site can help parents understand the professional language surrounding special education.

Curriculum-Based Measurement is a site that explains curriculum-based measurement (CBM). It can be useful for both educators and parents of students with special needs as it explains what CBM is and how it works.
